We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Care Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers, ensuring accurate data management, and resolving customer inquiries efficiently. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting daily operational activities.
How you create impact
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels
- Analyze customer needs and prepare quotations as required
- Negotiate rates with service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions
- Coordinate shipment tracking and provide updates and provide proof of delivery (POD) and necessary documentation to clients
- Perform accurate data entry into transportation management systems (TMS)
- Assist in sourcing carriers for new and existing operations and ensure compliance by using approved carriers for transportation services
- Review and validate carrier invoices and support dispute resolution
- Support customer implementations and process improvements
- Manage delivery appointments and shipment exceptions and provide customer reporting and KPIs as needed
- Drive cost savings through effective freight management and maintain compliance with company policies and code of conduct
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, logistics, or supply chain preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage high volumes of calls and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data entry and systems (TMS experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
